At the end of three years of activity, the Rurbance project presents its results in the final report here published, where you can find all the steps followed.
The Rurbance aim was to find a balanced model of economic development and lifestyle for rural-urban territories, combining the dynamic of the metropolitan areas with the natural attractiveness and know-how of rural and mountain territories in proximity.
At the end of the project period, Rurbance has developed cooperative and integrated governance models towards the implementation of Joint Development Strategies that induce territorial requalification processes in order to hand back value to the economic, social, environmental and cultural heritage that constitutes the identity of the territories as a whole. As a result, rural/mountain and urban communities become “equal players” in an inclusive decision making process.
